The FCA Business Practices Advisory Committee launched this effort to document the factors that impact job completion.
What if you had the data to support a claim without actually having to go to the expense of engaging consultants or attorneys?
That’s the goal of the FCA Labor Productivity Survey, which grew out of a concern that we all face common factors that impact job completion, no matter where the location or the type of work. Inside a building we’re all in the same boat.
The intent of the study is to push general contractors and owners into early resolution of disputes through negotiated change orders rather than through the claim process and ultimately lawsuits.
Simply fill-out three surveys (one for a project that went well, one that didn't turn out well, and one for a project that was mediocre), and then fax your completed surveys back to the FCA office. It's that easy!
