Finishing Industries Forum: 2010

LMCI tailored this year's FIF program, which took place December 1-3, 2010, in Las Vegas, NV, to meet the current needs of its contractors and workforce, keeping the agenda in line with the down economy. FIF remains a signature event for LMCI, the IUPAT and National FCA.

“Our mission is to gain market share for our contractors,” said Ed Smith, FCA Chairman, “We do that with a good partnership with our labor partners. That is the only way it will work in my opinion.”

This year’s FIF focused on pertinent issues by providing trade specific workshops that included panel members from FCA, the IUPAT, LMCI, FTI, and the Job Corps.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet with LMCI Co-Chairs, James Williams, IUPAT General President and Ed Smith, FCA Chairman. The discussion, which was in the form of a question and answer session focused on the most pressing issues facing the industry.
